Each CNC Precision Cut Billet DLX Coil Relocation comes with a Quality Side Hinged Barrel Key Ignition Switch. You have a choice of a Black or Chrome Switch to go with this Powder Black Billet Coil Relocation.
The key is used to lock the switch so it cannot be turned to the On Position, or the Accessory Position. When you are ready to ride, unlock it and turn it. The key does NOT remain in the switch while riding.
Included is everything you need to relocate your Coil & replace your Ignition Switch. When you order you will be asked which year Sportster you have, so we can send the correct switch for the wiring on your year model.
For CANbus models (14-up), you simply unplug the HD connector from the stock switch and plug it into your new switch.
For other models the wiring is easy, no soldering needed, we provide wires already set up with Posi-Lock Connectors & spades, for quick, positive connections.

FITMENT NOTES:
This Coil Relcation requires a tank lift of at least 1.5" be used. Some years of the Custom cannot run a tank lift without relocating the Speedometer. If you have a 4.5" fuel tank, you will need a 2" or higher tank lift.
Fits 2007-Up Sportsters
Because the coil is now sitting between the spark plugs, you will want to modify the length of your existing plug wires OR use the option for some New Pro Race Wires when ordering.

Love it 0 people found this helpfulGreat product. I love the look. The lock is the same as the ignition on bigger bikes. Turn left for accessory, right for ignition. Flip the cap to expose the barrel lock. Keep in mind that with the coil above the switch the firing order is reversed. You'll need to switch the spark 1 and spark 2 wires.

Missing installation hard ware and did not fit 0 people found this helpfulBought this for my 07 sportster low 1200 with the 4.5 gallon tank and the 1.5 required tank lift . First off the kit was missing the wires that were suppose to be include with the connectors to make the wiring easier. Secondly once everything was installed the switch and coil would not fit cause the coil was hitting the gas line not allowing to bolt up. Had to dab some 2 inch brackets to move it out so it would all work. Both issues weren’t a huge deal love the out come but for the price should have been right the first time. Customer service doesn’t seem to concerned with my problems.

Quality Product 0 people found this helpfulHeavy duty quality product. Easy installation, (except for the bolt provided that replaces the front tank mount on the lift. Stock nut does not fit the threads, Had to go get a new nut.) Love the look.
